Employee Spotlight: Reggie Garner
Welcome back to our Employee Spotlight Series! While we love featuring our wonderful homes, homeowners, and design elements, we are putting a face to our fantastic team of brilliant employees that keep Magnolia Homes moving and grooving efficiently each and every day! For our second Employee Spotlight, we are featuring Reggie Garner! We thought he would be the perfect candidate for our second Employee Spotlight, falling in his very own birthday month! Role: Vice President of Magnolia Homes
Length of time at MH: 37 Years!!! I was born here!!! I’ve been working full time at Magnolia Homes for 23 years!
Favorite Part About your day-to-day: Every day is different and that makes what I do fun and interesting!!! You never know what each day will bring so I’m always on my toes and ready!
Favorite Lunch Spot: Houston’s!
Go-to Coffee Order: Tea (I normally try a different one each time depending on whoever is working because they will always suggest different ones) from Nutrition Spot in Collierville!
Hobbies Outside of Work: Duck hunting and going to the lake with my family!
A Silly or Sweet Work Memory: For this I have to say meeting my twin!!!! At my 40th Birthday surprise lunch at Commissary I walked in to see my life-size poster twin and he continues to hang around and be used for different things. He still scares people and definitely gets laughs (or screams) out of everyone that sees him!!!!!!!!!!
If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why? If I had to choose, I would take the entire Magnolia Team because I feel each person offers something that the others do not which is why we have such a good team. So, if stranded on an island we would have no issues getting by because with everyone someone would always have a solution and someone would always be able to get done what needs to get done to survive. We would probably end up making it a vacation and would not even realize we were stranded after a few days!
