How Long Have You Been at Magnolia Homes?

I’ll be celebrating 6 years this September!

What is Your Favorite Part About your day-to-day?

Back when I worked in the Design Center, there were times when Karen would let me help make selections for inventory homes, which I just LOVED doing!  I loved getting to talk about the newest design trends, see the new options we have to offer, and watch how Karen puts so much thought into each and every selection for our inventory homes. Her selections tell a story throughout the entire home.  So, I’d have to say that my favorite part of the day is when I walk through our homes to see the selections that I helped her pick come to life.  Each one of our inventory homes has a piece of my heart!

Favorite Lunch Spot?

I’m a sucker for anything Italian! I’m also a big fan of Tacos for Life!

Go-to Coffee Order?

Grande White Chocolate Mocha. Unless it’s PSL season!

What are your Hobbies Outside of Work?

Does making Target runs sans toddler count? I actually love taking my 2-year-old son to local events, arts and crafts time at the Arlington library, play dates with his cousins, and the zoo!  I also love getting in the kitchen and trying out new recipes, and my family doesn’t mind being my taste-testers.  I love going to baseball games, college football season is my favorite time of year, game nights with my closest group of friends is ALWAYS a blast (seriously, though, don’t play trivia against us because we win every time!), and girls night with my Magnolia girls is my favorite!

A Silly or Sweet Work Memory You’d Like to Share?

I have so many fun and sweet memories of my Magnolia fam, but I have to say my baby shower is my favorite.  Whitney threw me the most beautiful Harry Potter themed baby shower.  Did I mention that I’m a huge HP fan?  The decorations were amazing.  In fact, some of the decorations are in my son’s room to this day.  The food was delicious.  We dressed up the cardboard cutout of Reggie and took pics with him.  The real Reggie came to the shower, along with Hunter and Ryan.  Lorna was off that day, but she and her husband drove to town to attend.  The other agents left their model homes and came to the shower.  All of my girls from the office were there.  Abbey and Gucci even came.  I was swollen and so ready to have that baby, but in that moment, I felt surrounded by nothing but love and support.  Simply put, it was perfect.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why?

Hands down, I’d choose Libby.  First, we could easily survive on the contents of both of our purses for at least 2 months.  And second, there’s nothing that a couple of Mississippi State girls can’t figure out.  We’ll find a way off that island.  When in doubt, just put Detective Libby on the case!

These responses were fun to read, Mary! Thank you for being such an integral part of the MH FAM!
