The Employee Spotlight series continues! Today, we are hearing from our Top Builder from Q3, so you know its going to be a good one! Ladies and gentlemen, Craig Dunaway is who we are putting the spotlight on for September!
What is your role at Magnolia Homes?
I am the Construction Manager in our Oak Hill Community!
How Long Have You Been at Magnolia Homes?
I’ve been in the MH family for over 2 years!
What is your favorite part of your day-to-day?
Getting the privilege to oversee the construction of some of the most beautiful homes on the planet! Also, getting know all of the homeowners along the way.
What is your favorite lunch spot?
I mostly go home for lunch, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Huey’s (My better half works there!)
What is your go-to coffee order?
I drink 2 cups of straight black coffee each morning before work. Sometimes I’ll hit up a Ghost energy drink in the afternoons for a little pick-me-up.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I love to hunt and fish, weekends at Pickwick, have cookouts, watch anything Ole Miss, and just spend time with my family.
Share A Silly or Sweet Work Memory!
Not sure if it’s silly or sweet, but the best memory so far would have to be our 2023 trip to Mexico! Getting to hang out with and get know each and every one of my coworkers and their better halves a little better for a few days was an absolute BLAST!! That Saturday night at the Pharmacy will never be forgotten!!
If you were stranded on a deserted island and you were able to choose one coworker to be stranded with, who would you choose and why?
This was a really tough decision. I wished I could take them all, but I’m gonna have to go with Hunter. Reason being is with his self-proclaimed expert fishing skills, we’d never go hungry. And I’m sure we’d find a way to get some ESPN going for football and baseball season to keep us entertained.
