A Year In Review

2020! A year none of us will ever forget, for many different reasons. A year when our homes became more than the place where we sleep and eat. Our homes became our offices, our learning centers, our gyms, our watering hole, our renovation stations, our sanctuaries, our favorite eateries, our movie theatres, our safe places, our libraries, and finally, our place of reflection when thinking back on the changes, hardships, blessings, and growth that occurred this year.

With all of the ways our homes serve us, we wanted to highlight four homes throughout the year that we loved building, showing their uniqueness from each other and their similarities. The features of the homes that became places of happiness, tears, frustrations, sighs of relief, and ultimately havens from the outside world. We want to highlight some of the features and suppliers of these beautiful homes!

Oak Hill, The Bennett

Cypress Grove, The Chaumette

Shepherd’s Creek, The Chambertin

Magnolia Preserve, La Crema

When asking around the office what room was your most frequently used room in your house during 2020, most answered with the kitchen! Our kitchens became the place where our meals went from quick after-work simplicities to more elaborate and complex dishes. We broke out the old cookbooks, we tried new recipes, we turned our coffee area into a Starbucks and re-created the cold foam cold brew. We used our dishes more than ever!

Our homes have served as our “place” this year. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to build these homes for amazing homeowners. As we continue into the new year, we have loved reflecting on the work we’ve accomplished this year, the growth that we’ve made as a team, the changes we’ve been able to make in the community, and the lives we’ve been able to touch. What a year!
