What to Know Before Your Design Center Appointment
Congratulations on purchasing your new Magnolia Home! By now, you’ve done your research, decided which community you want to live in, selected the perfect floor plan for your family and lifestyle, signed the paperwork, and made it official! Now, it is time to choose the selections and designs that will bring your personality to life throughout your brand-new home! The thought of choosing the details of your home may seem overwhelming at first, but by reading the information below before your first Design Appointment, you will be prepared and feel confident in the selections you are making for your new space!
Do Your Homework!
You may not be graded on this kind of homework, but you will feel much more prepared coming into the Design Center if you have looked around each of our communities, walked through the model homes, and ultimately have in mind the direction you are looking for in your new home.
We recommend that you take a look at our Welcome to the Design Center information, Design Guide and Included Features Guide as well to see examples of selections made in our Design Center that have come to life. These may help you determine if there are areas of your home you would prefer to use luxury selections or choose to use our included selections.
You will also find an Exterior Worksheet attached to your Welcome Email. We recommend that you look through the communities and fill out the worksheet prior to coming so that your time in your Design Center Appointment is even more enjoyable and efficient.
Before coming to your appointment, look over the agenda for the first and second appointments so that you can come prepared for what you will be selecting that day.
What to Bring
We recommend that you come dressed in comfortable clothing! We will be moving around from room to room in the Design Center and want your experience to be pleasant.
Additionally, please bring your homework items (listed above), any questions you may have about the selection process, ideas or pictures of the furniture decorations you will be using in your home, and anything else you think may be helpful for you during this appointment.
We recommend that you keep distractions at bay if possible, during your allotted time at the Design Center.
Who is Allowed To Come to the Design Center?
Our Design Center is for Magnolia Homes buyers for the purpose of choosing the selections and finishes for their home. We recommend arranging childcare before your appointment as there are many items that could be dangerous for children in the Design Center.
To respect the families in their Selection Appointments, you must have an appointment to come. Please email design@magnoliahomesinc.com if you do need to request an additional appointment to the ones that have been scheduled for you.
